Mock National Geographic Spread

Designed in 2016, this mock magazine spread was part of a typography project where we needed to show our knowledge of typographic hierarchy, appropriate typefaces, and type justification. Using a National Geographic article from 2001, I tried to make the spread appropriately reflect National Geographic's brand, while also experimenting with some more fun layout options.
